  his co-emperor dies. It seems like the only way out of the time loop is
  "accepting the loss" but he refuses to do that, because surely if he does this
  enough times he can figure out a way to save people? And then by pure
  stubbornness and tactics and don’t ever ever say die he defeats the time loop
  and saves people? (Note that with this prompt I’m okay with major character
  death cause it doesn’t stick.)


• Retelling the taking over the world in a new funky format-- script, or 2nd
  person, or found footage, or epistolary-- go for it!

Technoblade & Philza (Emduo): 

Technoblade, my heart forever. I love the funny man, and how smart and competent he is, and his loyalties both to people and principles. He’s an anarchist and he cares so much, and he’s giving gifts to his friends. I love how he never takes anything seriously, and at the same time he’s very practical, and did I mention the funny?

Philza my favourite old man! He cares about people so much and he’s never processed an emotion in his life! He builds! He’s wearing an ancient outfit like nobody on the server! He’s so skrunkly! He’s SO OLD, he's seen SO MUCH, and he's still going. He has a house next to his best friend!

Emduo is just important to me. Undying fealty? Battle buddies? Just the ease of friendship with someone you know so well-- maybe you knew them for centuries, maybe you just met and clicked? Either way you are just so completely comfortable together and you care about each other so much.

Syndicate:

Book club! They are friends— they are four people who have been so battered by the world, and they found community with each other. And they're choosing community and to trust and to try again after betrayals— and also they take down tyrants (cyberknife arc is Real To Me) and break into prisons. What's not to love? 

Some prompts for DSMP:
If you to take any of the medium tags and just play with the relationships that is awesome, but here are some specific prompts as well. I've tried to pick prompts that could work with either relationship, and I'm specifying if I think it's only one or the other. 

• Accidental time travel into combat zone: (this is mostly an emduo one but could work with syndicate too) You KNOW these people have wars in their pasts– back into backstory or even back before they met?
• Character being rescued can’t quite believe rescuer is real and not a fakeout/hallucination: 😭 it's a story that's good every time.
• Character Who Believes They'll Be Tortured/Killed Begs Mercy For Another: Just fuck me up, though please happy ending.
• Comes from alternate timeline where everyone died: This is one of my MCD is okay IF in this one– this is the one where like, techno could have died (because we get a new techno), or maybe there are two technos now. Or two phils. Mutliple Ranboos. But now they are FRIENDS. Can you tell I love finding trust and connection?
• Dehumanized and Abused Character is Shown Genuine Love and Affection: HUMAN WEAPON RECOVERY MY BELOVED.
• A Discovers the Extent of De-Aged B's Tragic Backstory While B Is De-Aged: I know kidfic is a tall order but what if we learn more about fighting rings past or horrible cruel cities or lonliness or or or, and also these traumatised kids get good food and a warm place to sleep. Hmmm I think maybe I like comfort from bad things. 
• Time-displaced Character A finds that things are better in the future: Make Me A Happy Ending For My Guys (if you want)
• And hmm most of these are hurt/comfort so I will also say I am very open to soft domesticity and healing moments (love narratives around food-as-care), or fun with worldbuilding and minecraft culture (love video game mechanics made to work in the world)/ 
• Time for my most hail mary prompt here: I have thought for a long time that it would be cool if we did like a royalty au, but it's fae courts and all those cutthroat politics, but from the point of view of the people who actually work in the courts. So not that they're princes, that they're a guard and a cleric and a seneschal. Y'know? I think this would offer some FUN opportunities. 
• The WB prompts: I would just love something delving into more Syndicate organization and missions. Do the Cyberknife conflict! From anyone's perspective— syndicate member or cyberknife! What are the politics like on this very factured server? Does the Syndicate do more with the prison? Do they have training arcs together? Do they have book club meetings? Do they go infilterate Las Nevadas? Give me a Syndicate mission, if you want!

• accepting injury to protect someone: what are co-emperors FOR if not this.
• Big Damn Rescue (with comfort): Sometimes your guy got kidnapped and you gotta go break some heads.
• Captured and tortured together & doing their best to help each other through it: You know these guys would be more focused on trying to help each other than anything else.
• Character A shows up on Character B's doorstep because they didn't know where else to go: Okay so what if PREQUEL where they were NOT allies and they have to work together? Or lean into Newfoundland/AE conflict?
• Character taken prisoner; expects torture/humiliation; gets kind & honorable treatment: Another one where what IF they were enemies and THEN?
• Misunderstandings - Hurt character initially believes comforter is there to hurt them more: You can do so much with a kidnapped emperor or--

• Character A has to beg to be allowed to take on character B's punishment instead: Messed up. I like it. 
• Magically de-aged character receives comfort they were too proud to ask for as an adult

• BAMF Character A is hurt/sick and is still a BAMF-Character B provides comfort anyway: Probably would want Phil to be the badass hurt here, but you do you with whoever.
• Bodyswap--character's hidden or downplayed pain/illness is discovered because of bodyswap: You know how Phil has mentioned that his wings are fucked up? You know how it’s fun to give disabled headcanons to characters? I think they could have the chance to learn more about each other with a body swap.
• Character A escapes from captivity; Character B discovers extent of their injury: I think maybe Phil taken captive by the Federation, and he either escapes or is rescued and then someone takes care of him?
• Characters in Arranged Marriage Expect Hurt But Receive Kindness Instead: let’s go CRAZY with non-canon backstory and have them expect the marriage to be bad (bad rumours about a reaper or the angel of death?) and then it’s good instead. That would obviously work for phil and missa but feel free to throw anyone else into this backstory, maybe etoiles and phil are assigned together in this hypothetical backstory!
• A picnic in which Forever is forever trying to win over Phil, and phil is like No, and Forever is like :((((( okay, but then like, something else bad happens (his BBQ fails? Trips into the water? A bee?) and then Phil is like Sigh, okay, you can come put your head in my lap I guess, and Forever is all ^________^. Something sweet and Phil is indulging him.
• The federation is escalating the attacks, and Phil is run ragged, and Forever offers that Phil and the eggs can come stay with him, and he helps out with getting the kids to bed and is so good with the kids and Phil is just so grateful, and then well, Forever is so sad when Phil turns him down, shouldn’t he show his gratefulness a little more? Isn’t Forever such a nice guy? This is one where you can come up to the edge of the DNW, this is the creepy prompt, we can get into pressured/dubcon. Creepy stalker photo album of phil while he’s sleeping optional.
• Just straight up whump the bird man. Someone is trying to break him, Phil is not receptive to being broken. Maybe Someone breaks him out? Maybe he breaks himself out? But emphasis on the ouch here.
• Write out that Missa and Forever contest for Phil’s love! They try to win over their man. Make it dramatic and funny, end it however you like. 
• Character A travels backward to fix love interest B's death and now on there are two of A. Maybe the QSMP should meet the colourza?
• I am literally always down for literally any arranged marriage trope you want to throw at me. 
• First time they meet is at a BDSM club instead. I just think this could be funny.
• CODEBREAKER DUNGEON CRAWL AND THEN THEY KISS EVERYBODY CHEERED.
• prompts with the kids:
• Making Homemade Soup for a Sick Person - Chayanne cooking soup for a sick parent or friend!
• Comes from alternate timeline where everyone died - the nightmare was real and only one person made it through, and then they glitch into this world where everyone is okay.
• Hurt A is so out of it they initially don’t recognize B and assume they’re there to hurt them more: This is one where I think either Phil or Missa got nabbed by the federation and get rescued (chayanne is instrumental in the rescue), and then here’s the fear that they’re there to hurt them somehow or not really them.
• Wingfic - Character has to hide their wings; is found out when hurt/sick & can no longer hide them: Chayanne and/or Tallulay development of dragon wings! And they’re guilty about them for some reason, but gets comforted and told it’s okay.

Original Work:

Okay can you tell I'm a sucker for arranged marriage or any sort of "well now we're in a weird situation, how do we navigate this?" This is one where the relationship is kind of the prompt, but I've tried to put in some notes about each one. 

Desperate Superhero Whose Life is in Danger/Supervillain He Reluctantly Goes to for Help (OW): 

Oh man I love this trope so much. Reluctant allies! Mutual respect! Sniping at each other but it turns out they understand you better than anyone else! Knowing someone else's fighting style like the back of your hand! And then they fuck about it! Or maybe just kiss maybe they're not there yet but Y'know. 

Exasperated King/Kidnapped Princess Who Likes This New Kingdom Much Better (OW): 

I think that the king should think he knows what's going on and have it all under control and then this princess he kidnapped is showing up RIGHT up and it's all very enriching frustrating for him. I'm good both with king/princess being peers in age or an age gap, but if you ARE going with an age gap I'd prefer princess to not be like, 18. Make her 21+  please.

Excentric Genius Detective/Her More Traditional Older Assistant (F/F) (OW)

Okay admitedly when I saw this one I was thinking femme holmes/watson as the dynamic but that isnt' quite it, but I'm also open to that. But just like— genius who is is both chafing at the restraints of what older assistant asks and also respects their skills and older assistant who is so frustrated but also awed by what detective can do— it's so crunchable.

Look. Especially if the soulbond was not planned and now you just have to DEAL with this person, who you're tied to on such a deep level, and find the good despite the exterior seeming off putting. It's good.

I think a man who is a crow of a fox sometimes who knows where to go for help is just a great start to a romance.

Okay so my tastes with this one absolutely tend more towards Comedy, because I just think this is a hilarious setup. He wanted someone to plow his fields and now he has someone offering to plow his fields! While this one has a bit of consent issues built in, with the unequal dynamic, I'd prefer any eventual ending point to lean further into "freedom for the alpha guy" rather than "slave/master dynamic continues as per". 

Retired Male Superhero/His Male Villain Nemesis Who Keeps Seeking Him Out Because He Misses Him (OW)

Look, there's a lot of different tones you could play this, from extreme comedy to something more heartfelt, and I'm not coming up with any that I wouldn't like. Superheroes and identity issues and masks and knowing your enemy so well they are part of your heart.

Here's a fandom I added in the last 6 hours of the exchange, thank you late tag signups. Origins! Beloved fandom with so much potential that has died and been reborn so many times, I believe it can live again maybe. Beloved fandom where we made up most of the lore because the server, as mentioned, is busy dying. I have had so much fun worldbuilding in this space. Come play with me in this space. 

I will say that this doesn't reach the level of a DNW, but my favourite things with Origins is stuff that goes beyond the "hybrid hunter" trope for worldbilding. I'm not against it as an element, but an entire story that leans on hybrid prejudice as the only thing going on, no other fun worldbuilding or other plot points, is not my favourite.

One of my favourite dynamics is Techno pretending to be carrot-obsessed or otherwise not caring but actually having a lot more skills that he's keeping locked down for some reason, and Crowfather just being so so so weird. Why are you so weird my man. 

Honestly with this you can kind of make up the dynamic, cause we have so little to work with, but I'd like them to be important to each other, please. Phil pulling aside a bell like :3 "I know a guy who likes bells" and Techno doing his carrot-obsessed bit but keeping coming back to hang out with Phil.
